Transcript: The results for the length of time spent per day playing computer games were interesting because the same amount of people spent 3 or more hours playing as spent 0-30 min. 2 people spend 0-30 min 1 person spends 30-60 min 1 person spends 1-2 hrs 1 person FAILED to answer properly and 2 people spend 3 or more hours The most popular genre's of computer game were FPS, RPG and RTS with only one person who played computer games not playing any of them (Mr Chambers) and one person other than Mr Chambers not playing RTS. The most common result with what people like in a computer game was a great plot. In fact every body except Mr Chambers said they liked a game to have a great plot, Mr Chambers however only like's pure action. Everybody said they play computer games because they enjoy them and only one person also said they play computer games because they "love violence and have not yet sought help". Everyone relevent who answered except Mr Chambers had played Modern Warfare 2 and everybody hed played either Super Mario or Pokemon, when they were younger hopefully. Everybody has a PC and half had Xbox360 while the other half had a Wii, very few people had a handheld console. THE END Only one person who compleated the survey did not play computer games. However this does not indicate that most people play computer games simply that most people ignore anything with the words computer game in it. My survey was about what several members of the class like or dislike about computer games and what their experience with gameing is. Computer Gameing Preferences Almost every one who replied to the survey had a family member and a friend who played computer games, only one person was without a gamer in their life.

How stressed do you feel before a test/project is due? 5. How stressed do you feel before multiple tests/projects are due on one day? 11th grade was left out entirely (Sampling Error) Previous polls have found that 11th grade is the most stressful year, which would have been a valuable contribution to our poll 3. How many tests do you have per week? • Our first question was: what is your grade level? • 16 freshmen, 20 sophomores, and 30 seniors participated, a total of 66 from all grades. • 61 people responded to the second question: how many AP/honors classes are you taking? • All seniors surveyed were in AP Literature taught by Mr. Tow, and so had at least one AP course. All sophomores and freshmen were in prep level english. • Over two-thirds of seniors are taking 3 or more AP or honors classes. • Only two freshmen are taking an AP or honors course, both are only taking one. • Most sophomores are taking no AP or honors classes, one is taking one advanced course, another is taking two. Results 2. How many AP or Honors classes have you taken this year? Sample and Population Third Question First Question Fifth Question Almost all students were significantly stressed by tests and projects All students were equally or more stressed when confronted with multiple tests and projects, to the point where many maxed out the scale. • 57 people responded to the third question: how many tests per week do you have? • Out of all three classes, 8 students have 0-1 tests per week, 43 students have 2-3, 6 have 4-5. 74% have two or more every week. • 64 people responded to the fourth question: how stressed out do you feel on average? Grade your stress-level from 1 to 10. • Sophomores were more stressed overall, 85% said that they were at or above a stress level of 8. • 86% of seniors have an average stress level of 5 or more. • Seniors on average were the most stressed before a test or project, with over two-thirds claiming they were at a 9 or 10 stress level out of 10. • 42 total students, or 66% of the sample, had over a stress level of 5. • Only 2 students, or 3%, claimed they had a stress level below 3 on average. Fourth Question To determine the effects that multiple tests and or projects on one day have on students. Population: Entire student body Sample: Three randomly selected English classes 9th grade non-honors English class 10th grade non-honors English class 12th grade AP English class Total: 66 students Purpose Questions Some students did not answer all of the questions The results were not tallied accurately 5. How stressed do you feel before multiple tests/projects are due on one day? Carried out a Public Opinion Poll Determined Population and Sample Analyzed data Calculated Sample Errors • 59 students responded to the last question, how stressed-out do you feel before a test or project is due? • 31% of all student respondents felt they were at a maximum stress level before a test or project was due, 69% were at a level of 8 or above. • Only two people, or 3%, had a stress level of 0-3 before a test or project was due.
