Review 2013-2014 Budget The Associated Students, California State University, Fullerton, Incorporated (ASI) is the recognized student government at California State University, Fullerton, advocating student interests on-campus and in local, state and national forums. The ASI strives to develop relevant and quality-minded services, facilities, and experiences, which are responsive to members of the campus and surrounding communities. HHD-ICC Purpose In the mean time, feel free to grab some food that Peggy and I have worked all night to prepare for you all! Where do we fall within the ASI Structure? The purpose of the HHD-ICC is to facilitate greater and improved degrees of communication and cooperation between the student clubs and organizations within the California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) College of Health and Human Development. The ASI fosters meaningful student development opportunities through leadership, volunteer, and employment experiences. In addition to out-of-classroom learning opportunities, the ASI provides campus community members with important social, cultural, and recreational opportunities as well as a wide range of programs and services. In recognition of its responsibility to enhance student life, the ASI encourages and supports the activities of all California State University, Fullerton recognized student organizations whose activities stimulate individual and group participation within the university community. Transcript: WELCOME BACK!!!!! This year our class will be studying the importance of recycling and leaving a smaller "footprint" in the world. After our study of recycling and reuse we will have a trash art contest. The students will be required to find "trash" to complete an art piece of there choosing. Hello! My name is Ms. Brown. I am very excited to have all of you in my class this year. This year is my very first year as a teacher. My family consists of my husband Phelix and our two daughters, Maddison and London. My oldest daughter, Maddison is 8 and she goes to Oaklawn Elementary and my youngest, London is 13 months and she goes to Little Angel's preparatory Academy . When I'm not teaching i enjoy spending time with my family, reading, writing short stories,and gardening. To all the parents thank you for the privilege of working with your child this year. Together we can work as a team and instill a real joy of learning for your child. These packets will have there graded papers for the previous week. It will also contain homework for the next week. The student is to bring the graded papers back on Tuesday and all homework is to be turned in on Friday. At the end of each 9 weeks I will send home a list of missing homework and the student will have one week to make -up missing assignments. This week is the only time make-up will be allowed. Goals for the year: I expect every student to learn to be RESPONSIBLE for there on actions. It will be up to the student to make sure all work is turned in and assignments complete. Try to solve problems rather than giving up. Ask for help. Ask questions to learn. Attempt small projects. Demonstrate a positive attitude toward my learning. Improve my organizational skills. Stay on task for a longer time. Accept the consequences for my actions. Overall I want students to grow!!!!! The winner of the contest will present there piece to the entire school and explain the importance of recycling and reusing as much as possible. They will also receive an award and a gift certificate to their favorite store for 25 dollars. Trash Art Contest: Students: Create art out of pieces of litter. Teachers: Help students collect pieces of litter for their projects and find examples of trash art or sculptures made from items that would be considered trash. Ask them to think of other ways to reduce, recycle or reuse trash.
