STOPPING 3 PASSES STOPPING 3 PASSES Collectively we stopped the 3 pass plays 78% of the time! 81% of the time in the Saracens game and 76% of the time v Gloucester This is an improvement on our game v Scotland where we had 68% Well Done! GET THE BALL BACK GET THE BALL BACK Top GTBB was Jonty Collins with 6! During the two games we got the ball back 27 times in the two games, but only in 6 different ways. Against Scotland we got the ball back 24 times and in 9 different ways. Our best way of getting the ball back proved to be Forcing a knock on, using the touchline (A Positive off the back of conversations we had following the Scotland Game) and the Jackle all with 7 each. Against Saracens we got the ball back 15 times and 5 of these were from Forced knock ons. Was the increased pressure we put on Saracens (Seen via 3 pass play stats) a reason for this? OSOK + OSIC V Scotland we didnt have one example of an OSOK. OSOK + OSIC In the whole day we had 7 this weekend, is this something we can continue to work on? because we didnt have many this weekend what did that mean to our continuity? Our ability to offload would give us a great OSIC highlight video, however we conceeded 36 turnovers on the day, is this a result of poor decision making on the ball and poos support of down continuity? Gloucester had 53% Positive outcomes from their Possessions. We only made it to 6 Phases on 2 occasions and gave away 16 Turnovers. Are these linked? do we apply pressure to score? We actually had more linebreaks then Saracens (11/9) Our positive outcomes were still low at 35% with 51% Go Forward. These turnovers had a massive effect on the game as some of them directly lead to Saracens Tries. We need to make better decisions around our passing.
