Transcript: House Bill 19 “The Tina Croucher Act” On December 21, 1992, Tina Croucher was murdered by her ex boyfriend. Despite behavior witnessed by classmates and teachers, incidents with the police, Tina’s on again and off again boyfriend of several years walked into her house and shot her while she slept and then killed himself. This bill mandates that all 7th -12th graders in Ohio are to be educated on teen dating violence. When you enter the room you will immediately start your warm up. This classroom will run on a 50 MINUTE SPRINT. There will be NO DISCUSSION outside of the work we are doing. You will give 100% effort during our 50 minutes. 50 Minutes Means 50 Minutes You will not pack up to leave before the bell rings. You will not leave the classroom for ANY REASON (no restroom, no locker, no library). You will make your Orthodontist and Doctor’s appointments during some other class! ;-) I make the teams.
