Transcript: Technology Background Computers First Computer My family has only owned 4 computers since I have been alive. The first computer was shared by everyone in my family and was used by me to play computer games such as Motorcross 2000, NBA 2002, NHL 2001, and NFL 2006. To play the games I had 2 old and black controllers which were wireless. Playing these games were my first introduction to video games. Other than using this computer for playing old games, the only times I used it was when I had to get information off it for school. Next Step In Computers I first started using laptops when both my parents bought HP computers. The computers were a little different in how they look but both had 16" screens. On these computers I finally got into the online part of computers by creating an email and then later on by entering pools for hockey and football. My Own Computer I got my computer in April and I have been on it almost everyday since. My new computer is an Acer and is a 14". I have been on my computer at least 3 times as much as my parents computers doing NHL pools, searching information for school, and since I bought Call of Duty Elite, I have been on that the most. Consoles Gameboy Advance My first experience with portable gaming was with the gameboy advance. I got my gameboy when I was 10 and used it a lot for a couple years. The only social part of the gameboy that I figured out at that age was how to use the wireless adapter and the link cord. DS I got a DS a couple of years after my gameboy and at first thought it was sick because there was 2 screens and a touch screen but it doesn't fit to your hand like the new portable systems. Wii The Wii was probably the worst experience with video games that I've had because the graphics are all cartoon and unrealistic and it makes you move and exercise to play the games. I hate some games like NHL for the Wii because they make the controls hard to use accurately unlike other systems. Xbox 360 I've had an Xbox 360 since I was 12 and since then I've slowly turned into a gamer. Since the games and graphics are always improving on the Xbox 360, in my opinion it has turned it into the best system. At the start I never got Xbox Live but then I got more involved and got a wireless adapter, mic, and Xbox live every year for the last 2 years. I have owned 3 Xbox 360's, 2 white and 1 Elite. Games Call Of Duty My favourite game series by far is Call Of Duty. I have played every Call Of Duty made except for Call Of Duty 3 because I didn`t have a Xbox or Xbox 360 when it was released. This is my favourite series because of the really good story line and now in the recent Call Of Duty games, the great graphics. In the Call Of Duty series I like the Modern Warfare games the best mostly because of the characters, graphics, and the story line. I like the Call Of Duty Black Ops game and the World At War game the worst because of the terrible graphics. The only part of the games that were cool was the zombies. The story line in Black Ops was very bad because it was in the past jumping around in time. Sports I like playing sports games alot because of all the new players entering the game each year and all of the updating being done automatically. My favourite new feature in the last couple of years by EA is the Ultimate Team where you get packs of card with random players and build your team like it was an actual team in a league. The sport games that I play are NHL, NFL, NBA, and WWE. Most of the time I just buy the sport games every second year because every year it doesn't update the roster and modes that much. Pokemon The first games I played for the Gameboy Advanced were Pokemon. I`ve played almost every Pokemon based game because when I was younger I wasn`t allowed to play shooting games. Bethesda Bethesda Studios is my second favourite company because of their very detailed story games that they create. The 2 games by Bethesda Studios that I`ve played that make me like the company is Oblivion and Skyrim. I recently got Skyrim and it is the best story based game I`ve played.
