Transcript: Saudi Arabia Hello today I'll be showing the best of best's at the EYE CATCHING Saudi Arabia! First We'll start at the soft sandy beaches of Silver Sands Beach. Silver Sands Beach! Oh don't get me drooling about this beach with the waves so smooth and ready to surf on for ages as well as the soft crunch of the sand between your toes and the sweet smell of the salty breeze. What could be better? How about, Al Wahbah which is one very big crater alright. Some people would just think it's a dusty old thing but CHECK IT OUT it's 500m deep and 2km wide. WOW their couldn't be something much better than that could there? Well here's a sight that might make you think twice, As you come across the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. It's a very big tourist attraction because of its big limestone walls and the history put in them. So make sure you visit this historic place. Our last stop will be a very famous place in Saudi Arabia the Madinah. Now if you want to be amazed Come and see it. Ranked the second holiest place in Islam only to the Makkah. The beautiful work put into this building always gets the people talking. So come and see it for yourself! Now for five interesting facts about Saudi Arabia! 1. Did You Know, Saudi Arabia is one of the driest countries in the world! "WOW! I never thought it was that dry from looking at the pictures!" 2. Did You Know, Saudi Arabia is the biggest petroleum exporter in the world. "It must stink of Petrol over their GROSE!" 3. Did You Know, The root of an arak tree is used to clean teeth in Saudi Arabia. "I wonder what that would taste like!" 4. Did You Know, The tomb of Eve (where Eve (from Adam and Eve) was buried) is said to be located in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. "Oh, is that where god put Eve after she ate the forbidden fruit from the tree!" 5. Did You Know, Their is a mine in Saudi Arabia called "Cradle of God" which was once the greatest gold mine in the whole of Africa. "Goodness Gold! I'd love to go their so I could buy different things made of gold!" Now for a joke about camel's in Saudi Arabia! A mother and baby camel are talking one day when the baby camel asks, "Mom why have I got these huge three toed feet?" The mother replies, "Well son, when we trek across the desert your toes will help you to stay on top of the soft sand". "OK" said the son. A few minutes later the son asks, "Mom, why have I got these great long eyelashes?" "They are there to keep the sand out of your eyes on the trips through the desert", "Thanks Mom" replies the son. After a short while, the son returns and asks, "Mom, why have I got these great big humps on my back??" The mother, now a little impatient with the boy replies, "They are there to help us store water for our long treks across the desert, so we can go without drinking for long periods." "That's great mom, so we have huge feet to stop us sinking, and long eyelashes to keep the sand from our eyes and these humps to store water. But Mom", "Yes son?"
