Transcript: Freedom of religion: According to Article 19 in the Russian Constitution "The state shall guarantee the equality of rights and liberties regardless of sex, race, nationality, language, origin, property or employment status, residence, attitude to religion, convictions, membership of public associations or any other circumstance. Any restrictions of the rights of citizens on social, racial, national, linguistic or religious grounds shall be forbidden." This means that no one will be discriminated for what they believe in. Right to bear arms: Russian citizens are allowed to have chemical weapons (without a permit) and riffles and shotguns, but the ownership of handguns is prohibited. Protection from cruel and unusual punishment: Article 21 in Russia's Constitution states that "the dignity of the person shall be protected by the state." Protection from unwarranted seizures: According to Article 25 in Russia's Constitution "The home shall be inviolable. No one shall have the right to enter the home against the will of persons residing in it except in cases stipulated by the federal law or under an order of a court of law." Right to assembly: According to Article 31 of the Russian Constitution "Citizens of the Russian Federation shall have the right to gather peacefully, without weapons, and to hold meetings, rallies, demonstrations, marches and pickets. For example people can gather in front of the white house and protest the president without precociousness.
