Transcript: I chose this quote because it reminds me that even if i don't like someone, being rude not only hurts them, but will also hurt me and the people around me We all have to live together, so we might as well live together happily. 3. The point is that making goals and working towards the future is a necessity, however not to be placed above striving for happiness on a daily basis. Conclusion School spirit Friday GHS spirit Author: James Dean I chose this quote because it reminds me not to stop working towards tomorrow, but not to let tomorrow ruin today 3. I think about the way that what I do or want to do might affect others, especially those in my committee/ group The leader in our community that has most affected my life is unfortunately no longer with us. However his name was Elan and he taught me the most important lesson that I have learned in my life to date. He showed me no only through his actions but by repeatedly reminding me that a person's words spoken about you only matter as much as you let them. One day, in middle school, i was upset because a girl who i thought was my friend had been saying bad things about me. While i was in tears, Elam explained to me that the things that girl had said about me were not fact, and actually reflected more upon her than they did on me. Through every situation like this, Elans words come into my head and not only remind me not to let myself take other's negativity too seriously, but also to remember that whatever I say about someone reflects more on me than it does on them Leaders in the Community With Great Power Comes Great Responsiblity 2. I am not afraid to stand up alone for what I believe in. Being in leadership at GHS is a responsibility because while you are making decisions and organizing events for the school as a whole, community members, staff members, and fellow students often look to you as an example. This means that while we get the power of making decisions and being a part of organizing events that the responsibility of then acting as an ambassador then rests on your shoulders. This was my team attempting to take a picture for the team delaney website Resume of My Life My fondest high school memory so far has been both of my years at Hume Lake church camps. These weeks installed in me and renewed my faith, which has changed my life and the person that I have become. The Brand New Kid Spirit Week I aspire to be ____ This Trimester I met Emily Wilson and got to spend more time around her and to work with her in the leadership environment. We worked together on various aspects of various projects. My greatest gain from meeting her however did not involve any of the projects we worked on together but was the personal inspiration i got from her. The way i watched her treat people so well showed me how to keep your calm in a negative situation, to find the best in everything, and to treat all people with respect despite any current situation or feelings. Author: Dalai Lama I don't have pictures from the other community service 1. I have organizational skills that help me and any group/committee that I am in to get things done My name is Rachel Braun. I am 16 years old and I play soccer , basketball, and softball. I was a girlscout for 9 years and i received my bronze and silver awards for projects done during those nine years. I play soccer for West Coast Soccer Club and it is the most serious of my sports. I began playing soccer when i was three years old and its kept me busy and mostly out of trouble. I am an overall hard worker and quick learner, and I am excited to see where my future takes me Leadership Portfolio 4. I do my best to be supportive of others and their ideas I chose this quote because its something that i struggle with, and I've found when I've made a point to strive to be grateful for the good and to smile through the bad, i am happier p1.............................. Parents will share this happiness through traditional wedding customs and accept the blessings of their family and friends. However, due to social changes and parents giving their children more freedom, Taiwanese wedding customs have simplified in recent years. Many western wedding elements have also been adopted to create an Asian/Western fusion in weddings. That inspired her to write the hunger games book. I would say from my prospective it was a thrilling story. It's starts with picking two people from all the districts. In district 12 Katniss volunteers for her sister to be a tribute for the Hunger games. That starts the adventure for Katniss and her teammate Peeta. Katniss never thought she would win the Hunger games, but she realized that she can win it because she had close relationship with Peeta. Soon she gets to be friends with a 12 year old girl called Rue from district 11. "Destroying things is much easier than making them." Bibliography Suzanne Collins was born in Hartford,Connecticut in 1962. Suzanne Collins was the youngest of the four children. They had to move a lot when she was young.
