In Athens we can find their traditional music and dance CULTURE GASTRONOMY Athens offers us the best Greek cuisine, very fresh, healthy, and balanced. MOUSSAKA: a baked dish made primarily of eggplants and minced meat BAKLAVA: is a layered pastry dessert made of filo pastry, filled with chopped nuts, and sweetened with syrup or honey. OUZO: is a clear colored liqueur made from grape must WEATHER WEATHER In Athens, the summers are hot, dry, and clear and the winters are long, cold, windy, and partly cloudy. Autumn and spring are the best times to visit this city. MILAN CULTURE, GASTRONOMY AND WEATHER GASTRONOMY CULTURE Milan is on the one hand known for its architecture, known worldwide Art museums are an important part of the city of Milan Milan is known for fashion week, being one of the cities where luxury brands present their new collections every winter. CULTURE GASTRONOMY The gastronomy of Italy is a completely creative meal. Everyone knows that dishes like pizza, pasta, and risotto are the highlights of Italian food The desserts, in this case some from Milan, such as panettone, and for drinks, prosecco wine WEATHER WEATHER The summers are hot and humid, the winters are very cold, and it is partly cloudy year round. The best time to go to Milan is in Spring and in the beginning of summer. CONCLUSIONS CONCLUSIONS Which one is the best? 1. Landscape, 2. food and 3. climate 1 Each city has different architecture and landscapes. 2 It is difficult to know which city has the best gastronomy. 3 It depens on the time of the year.

Transcript: Free Verse Background Life in Rural West Virginia The foster care systems is a temporary arrangement, in which an adult(s) take care of a child or children while their birth parents aren't able to care for them. Many people think that the foster care system is where juvenile delinquents end up, but its a place to help children get proper care. Some negatives to foster care, is that their is a lot of emotional, physical abuse that may have occurred so the child may be scared or have behavioral problems due to it. Some positives to foster care are, it gives a hurt child a home and place to live, therefore you are helping a child get proper care and love, Bibliography Foster Care System The people of Rural West Virginia have been isolated from the mainstream of American life. Residents there, use an "Elizabethan" speech, not used in modern day America. Most towns in Rural West Virginia are very poor, so many families don't have proper food and housing. Another affect of the poverty, is there is many fatalities from drug abuse, and suicides. Dangers of Coal Mining Some on-site dangers are, suffocation gas poisoning, roof collapse, and gas explosions Deaths from coal mining are more frequent in less developed parts of the world. Many deaths are caused by the poor air quality from working in the mines.
