Transcript: Computer Aided Design of Digital System Background Image Sub-tractor Introduction Introduction Our project is a background image sub-tractor which will take two gray-scale image and remove background by comparing both images pixel by pixel. I am an IT professional currently working as a Senior Web Developer at Dow University Of Health Sciences. Graduated from Sir Syed University Of Engineering And Technology 2016 Syed Muhammad Yasir Yasir I’m a software developer by profession, so I basically solve problems for a living :D Currently working as senior software developer at TRAFiX LLC. Have graduated as a Computer engineer from Sir Syed University. Muhammad Zakiuddin Zakiuddin Project Plan Timeline Tools Tools We will be using MATLAB simulation for our development. Distribution of work load Steps Steps Read Image Read Image System will load already saved images from directory. Once the images are uploaded they are sent to other module for comparison. All the necessary requirements for starting program will be done in this module. Compare Image Compare Image • Once we have the two images background image and current image stored in Block RAM as 2-d arrays. • We planned on using behavioral modeling’s loop to iterate through both images’ pixels. • We would subtract background image from current image. • If the pixel difference is greater than the threshold value, we would consider it as the foreground. Problem: We don’t really know off hand what should be considered the right threshold value. So this was to be decided through experimentation once the project was coded enough to be simulated. Once done with comparison output will be generated showing resultant object without background. Finalization Finalization
