Transcript: Target audience; roughly from the ages of 15 to 25. Typically male audience with a love/passion for retro styled games. Who also don't care for graphical felidalitly but rather for great game mechanics and ideas The cover for the game's package 2 hyper linked pages from the games website a magazine advert for the game The distrubiton methods will be tv ad breaks and youtube adverts. These methods can grasp a huge auidence at a reasonable cost Own strengths: Gaming Jargon 101 Games like all media products have genres Game genres usually indicate what type of game. for example a game known as a FPS (first person shooter) has the genre of simply as a FPS. Game genres do mix and make hybrid genres, they all follow the abbrivation theme that is quite consistant within game genre names. A few well known genres; FPS, RTS(real time strategy), MMO(Massivley Mutliplayer online), Puzzle (no abbrivations here ), RPG(Role playing game), MOBA(Multiplayer online battle arena) Some hybrid genres; MMORPG, MMORTS, FPSpuzzle. About the game: 4. Tv adverts for a new computer/video game Distrubution and exhibition: knowledge of magazine and tv advertisements Comfortable knowledge of conventions of platformer games Skill sets needed for production: F2P (free too play) P2P (its either Pay to Play, or with server connections its Peer to Peer) Servers are what most mutliplayer elements are hosted on The act of 'hosting' is simmilar to holding a party at your house. people can come and go as they please but its your house where the event is. Such is the simple meaning for hosting Loot is the term for reciving new items/gear from achiving specific tasks mechanics a feature within a game The game is a retro style 2d platformer where you play as a 'good' robot-like character that works his way through the levels using the 4 elements in various ways to solve puzzles, navigate through blockades and to fight off the 'bad' full-robot characters, The game will focus less on the fighting and more on the puzzles My love for gaming in general and my experince with the simple conventions of platformer games will allow me to make the products and give me a drive to see this from start to completion. The game tv adverts will link into each other due to the nature of their content, the logo that they show will become a icon for which the magazine advert and the game cover will share, this link will draw in auidences who have seen the tv adverts and notice the similar style between all of the products How the products will relate/support each other:

Pitch & Presentation

Transcript: Pitch and Presentation Idea 1 For a gamer, playing becomes more than an addiction, and life becomes a game itself… It’s all a mind trick! What happens if you’d wake up in a morning feeling like you are not living in a real life? For Kyle the question is if this is a game or it’s for good. His mind is playing tricks, and he is becoming captive in his own world. After being abandoned and spending all his childhood and adulthood playing video games, Mike is finding himself alone having to face an awful truth. He doesn’t seem human anymore. When he is not controlling, his reactions are almost robotic, like his mind was replaced by a more powerful source. Idea 2 A deaf girl with 200 IQ starts hearing voices (ironic). Is she able to hear again, or is something beyond that? A genius in mathematics and quantum Physics lives in absolute stillness. From her birth to her 25s she completed dedicated herself to sciences. It was the only life she knew…until one day when a blow minding thing happened. It was a low frequency at first, then something that she could associate with human voices. In a strange way her mind could perceive and even understand the message transmitted. What is actually happening? Idea 3 An ex convict decides to test a new drug aimed to delete all your bad memories and sins for a couple of hours… How convenient and safe can that be? Being an ex convict implies a lot of things, especially living at peace with the past and your regrets. Phil knew that he couldn’t change everything, but at least it can be possible and less painful for him if he will try a new path. It was a new drug pill discovered that would focus only the memories that represent something positive for you. Phil thought that he will feel the release of not having regrets for a couple of hours... And then something unexpected happened.
