Toray Industries: Manufacturer of fibers and textiles, plastic resins, films and carbon fiber composite materials expands production in Spartanburg, S.C. $1 Billion total investment. A $23M project to convert Columbus Street Terminal into a world-class vehicle and breakbulk cargo terminal in complete. A 25-acre refrigerated container yard at the Wando Welch Terminal has centralized all temperature-controlled cargoes and increased capacity by 10%. 25 acres of “shovel-ready” property at the Wando Welch Terminal is available for future development as needed. $17M new terminal operating system is online.
