Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Content Management 201

Transcript: Vision Where are we? even Gartner doesn't recommend that you should only look at leaders many of the companies in the leader quadrant have market share/brand recognition based on company size in non-ECM segments (Microsoft, Oracle) and have ECM suites that are based on non-native components (EMC) Response Positioning FileBound's inclusion in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Content Management 2015 Response Where were we? As a historically channel-focused product, we have generally supported partners' vertical sales and marketing strategies. We are working on corporate initiatives to focus on specific solutions. Upland's corporate focus on enterprise work management and the changing nature of work reflects overall market trends and will continue to drive innovation in areas like mobile and usability as well as integration. But you aren't in the leader quadrant Ability to execute is how well a vendor is able to sell and support its ECM products and services. The vendors are also rated on their financial viability. . . Feedback on the current installed base, customer support, customer satisfaction and information about migrations is also taken into consideration. Completeness of Vision focuses on a vendor's ability to perceive where a market is going, or where it should go, and act upon it. This may include new sales models or new products, but also creating new markets or entering promising vertical markets with new products. What does that mean?
