Transcript: Rising Curtain Event Goal 1 Site Plan: Registration Event Description Site Plan: Q&A Panel To facilitate information distribution and exchange about the entertainment industry. Objective 1: Secure the attendance of 20 industry professionals by August 1, 2024. Objective 2: Identify 6 industry professionals to be part of the event panel by August 10, 2024. The purpose of the event is to showcase new talent and to create a space for aspiring actors and industry professionals to network. The event will include performances from 10 actors, a Q&A panel and an hour dedicated to networking and mixing with other attendees. V.I.P. tickets will give attendees access to exclusive workshops led by real actors! To be held on September 21, 2024. What Have I learned and What Would I do Differently? Goal 3 Goal 2 Site Plan: Bites and Business Mixer Program Pieces Animation Plan Showcase and promote new talent Objective 1: Select 10 aspiring actors for event performance by July 28, 2024. Objective 2: Create 5 demo reel showcases by August 12, 2024. Net $50,000. Objective 1: Identify 5 new sponsors in the Los Angeles area, with 3 having a vested interest in educating or recruiting fresh, new talent by July 15, 2024. Objective 2: Identify 3 donors in the Los Angeles area by July 15, 2024. Goal 4 Planning an event requires miticulous organization and time management. I learned how to break down the event planning process into manageable tasks. Creating a budget taught me the importance of financial planning, prioritizing expenses and resource allocation. Planning this event sparked a passion for the industry that allowed me to unleash my creativity. Embracing creativity and innovation is esential in creating memorable and successful events that leave a lasting impression. The event is only 5 hours so it may feel a bit rushed, I would make it longer if I were to actually produce it. I would think of a better way to incorporate the workshops since they take place during the panel. I would more closely examine risk mitigation. Incorporate awards and recognition. Generate media coverage. Objective 1: Establish partnerships with 3 media outlets that are aligned with event theme by June 10, 2024. Objective 2: Secure the attendance of 6 local journalists, reporters, or bloggers by June 30, 2024. Description of Marketing Stategies to Be Used (The 8 P's) Participant Outcomes Marketing Collateral Piece #1: Event Poster The "8 P's" continued... 1st "P": My event is unique because of the engaing activities available to participants and the notable people who are collaborating with my event. 2nd "P": The Skirball Cultural Center is an L.A. staple situated on a hillsdie that offers stunning views and free parking! 3rd "P": Standard tickets priced at $50, V.I.P. tickets priced at $85 (workshop access). 4th "P": Of the first 100 "aspiring actors" to purchase tickets, they will be entered into a raffle.
