Great with students, workers, family, etc. For example: With games like Jeopardy and Family Feud, players can pick practically any answers. The person who is running the game will have to have all of the answers in order to determine if players are correct or not. However, with a game like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, the players only have a choice between answers, A, B, C, or D. Therefore, when the player decides their answer, the person running the game clicks it, and the game will tell them whether they are right or wrong.

Transcript: m 1 2 p b Y g X The Power of Education F HOW EDUCATION CAN BECOME MORE ATTAINABLE Over 72 million children from ages three through seven are not in school and 759 million adults are illiterate because education is inaccessible for these people (Soret). why this is nessacary why this is nessacary D Big Coorperatins Aid With the help of major world companies donating their time, money and other recorces to help make education for everyone possible. Companies that spend millions on education As Bruce Watson wrote in his artical, 10 companies spending millions on education, he lists companies such as Target, EXXonmobil and Microsoft that use some of their profits to help ensure children around the globe receave education (Watson). While both these compaines are for-profit organizations, both Target and Office Depot they have large donations go out in the form of office supplies to schools. On the Target website, is shows with their support over a billion dollars in books and other school related items has been donated to impoverished areas (Target). Companies in action How these companies and non-profit organizations go hand in hand. Many of these big companies partner with non-profit organizations for this cause. For example, Apple one of the worlds biggest tecnology compamies has teamed up with the Malala fund to help provide schools for women in devloping countries. (ABC News). How these companies and non-profit organizations go hand in hand. C Non-Profit Organizations Non-Profit Organizations are essential to any cause, and the numerous organizations that are dedicated to growth of education really help give children education There are millions of non-profit organizations for education, but one of the most well known is the Malala Fund (Malala Fund). The Malala Fund The Malala Fund She has raised billions of dollars to help women gain rights around the world especially in the middle east. She has also brought a lot of attention to the lack of womens education in these poverty and war stricken areas The World Bank brings a lot of light to the topic of education in impoverished areas and several professionals in the topic speak on how educatiuon can be enabled for everyone (World Bank). The World Bank The World Bank Oni Lusk-stover is a Senior Education Specialist with the education research team of the World Bank Group who is also a women's education representative. She tends to do her work in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia where education is often illegal or looked down upon for women Stover often partners with missionaries in the Sub-Saharan areas. B Missionaries Missionaries in the current world not only share the good news, but also come to these counrties with skill sets and recources that help the growth of education. These missionaries go into dangerous countries for Christians such as Tanzania and India and start building schools and instructing teachers then later once they have established relationships with these people they start preaching the gospel. Missionaries of Compassion Samaritan's purse provides large relief to children who are in poverty and who may have never had the opportunity to go to school or their schools have been destroyed (Samaritan's Purse). Transcript: My hypothesis If you drink water then your heart rate will be closer to normal Background Research In the research conducted for this experiment Gatorade seemed to be the better drink to consume before an activity. Gatorade keeps you hydrated longer then water in intense workouts and activities. Gatorade was created as an athletic drink. It was an invention that was created in a lab in 1965 within the University of Florida. Some of the ingredients in Gatorade are potassium and sodium. Potassium acts as an electrolyte. Too much potassium however can lead to a disease called Hyperkalemia or excess amount of potassium in the blood stream. Sodium helps muscles contract properly and leads to a healthy blood pressure. However most foods are already high in sodium so if you do not exercise then you are at risk of health conditions like elevated blood pressure, stroke, and heart disease increase. Materials Materials- 2 clean cups per participant pre-measured/marked containers to hold 250mL of liquid metric measuring cup bottled water (same brand) (2250mL total needed, divided) Lemon-Lime Perform 02 Gatorade (same flavor/type) (2250mL total needed, divided) open space for activity space/chair for rest area willing participants for experiment Procedure Gather people and materials Prepare the water and Lemon-Lime Gatorade in cups (250 ml) Have participant rest for 15 minutes in a chair Have participant take pulse rate from the neck for 15 seconds Have participant jog in place for 2 minutes without any liquid Have participant take pulse rate for 15 seconds Rest for another 15 minutes in a chair Have participant drink water (250ml) Rest in chair for another 15 minutes Jog in place for 2 minutes Take pulse for 15 seconds Rest for 15 minutes Have participant drink Lemon-Lime Gatorade (250 ml) Rest for 15 minutes Jog in place for 2 minutes Take pulse for 15 seconds Repeat steps 1-16 for each participant two more times on two different days for a total of three trials per participant Record all data Data Table The data from this experiment helps us better understand the topic of weather water is better to drink rather than Gatorade before an activity. In the research conducted Gatorade seemed to be the better option for the activity. But the results show that water was better for the activity. The hypothesis of the experiment was that water was better than Gatorade for keeping your pulse rate down. According to this data in this experiment you should drink water rather than Gatorade. The impact of these results supports water in the fact that good for keeping your pulse rate down. It does not support Gatorade in keeping your pulse rate down. It could affect the marketing of both. In a positive way for water and negative for Gatorade. People might start to use water more than Gatorade which is healthier. The area of interaction for this experiment is Health and Social education. The reason for this Area of Interaction is that it is trying to figure out which drink is healthier for you so you can do physical activities with friends longer. If somebody was to do the exact same experiment then they might get completely different results or about the same data. The reason I say that is because if you get people that are used to drinking Gatorade before activities their body is used to it therefore their pulse rate may be lower than in my experiment. The reason being that the people I tested used both Gatorade and water regularly but water a little bit more frequently. This might have been a factor in my experiment as to why when the participants used water their pulse rate was always lower then when they used Gatorade. Which will you choose? I would like to thank a few people personally for their time. One is the Kidd family for letting me test them in the experiment. As well as my mother who let me use her computer when the one in our house crashed. finally I would like to thank my sister for letting me test her with this experiment. And my dad for letting me take over the computer when he had school work to do. Implications and Conclusions

Transcript: Space exploration 101 Mrs.Krueger's 4th period by Jonathan Yap theme: Dangers Just as the pitching and rolling of a boat in water causes one to become seasick, motion sickness in space causes one to be spacesick. Spacetravelers can take drugs to prevent or lessen motion sickness. These drugs target neurotransmitters that stimulates vomiting. "Puffy-Head Bird-Legs" occurs when sinuses swell and blood shifts away from the legs, causing the respective appearances, which is a direct result of microgravity. In a few days the body's fluid levels are less than what they were on Earth. Upon return to Earth, gravity restores the body's fluid levels to normal. Osteoporosis is a decrease in bone mass, and its occurrence may be due to changes in force and stress that causes bone forming cells to become less active. Bone eroding cells cause the resulting decrease in mass and bones become brittle. Space debrisis a result of our environmental negligence. Debris continually orbits the Earth for up to millions of years and poses a hazard to satellites and spacecraft alike. They orbit at high speeds, colliding among themselves and creating an endless, deadly cycle. Being with the same people in a cramped up placefor long periods of time can be extremely stressful. Tension between crewmates can accumulate , increasing the risk of miscommunication and other mishaps. In additon, the stress of isolation may damage the immune system's ability to fight infectious diseases. Thanks for watching! Space Adaptation Syndrome Traveling in space can cause temporary and permanent hearing loss. Machines and experiments in space cause loud noises and constsnt exposure to them may be the cause of hearing loss. Hearing protection has helped prevent the loss on some missions. Radiation Psychological Effects The Earth's atmoshere protects us from harmful radiation, but when humans travel out into space, they are susceptible to life threatening amounts of a more dangerous radiation. Earth radiation consists of Alpha, Beta, and Gamma particles. Space radiation are atoms that have lost their electrons as they accelerated at speeds approaching the speed of light so that only a necleus remains.
