This study also limits the number of participants and the target place of the study in Barangay San Vicente The participants of solo-parent mothers will be limited only to those who have been separated from their husbands and who have children. Qualifications for selecting the respondents are based on the given criteria. Scope and Delimitation Since this study will utilize purposive sampling, which would include respondents based on an agreed upon criteria, only those who qualify will be chosen as the respondents. The separation cases were limited to those due to marital difficulties or marital breakdown such as divorce, legal separation, church annulment, mutual decision to separate, with or without legal agreement and being abandoned or left by a spouse and decision to leave the spouse.
