To address the prevalent economic challenges associated with single-parent mothers within and outside the domestic circle and the coping tactics they employ to identify future threats in response to their fundamental economic security. Objectives of the study 2. To make a significant contribution to insights, awareness and expertise in the association of the alliance of disadvantaged single parent mothers as well as on policy intervention to support women participants and stakeholders of concerns associated to single parenthood. Significance of the study To the Single-Parent Mothers To the offsprings of single-parent mothers Significance of the study Significance of the study To the learners Significance of the study To the advocacy organizations Significance of the study To the policymakers Significance of the study To the future Researchers Scope and Delimitation Specifically, the study will only focus on the economic problems encountered by the urban solo-parent mothers and the survival strategies they employ to overcome perceived threats in relation to the economic needs of the family. This study also limits the number of participants and the target place of the study in Barangay San Vicente The participants of solo-parent mothers will be limited only to those who have been separated from their husbands and who have children. Qualifications for selecting the respondents are based on the given criteria. Scope and Delimitation Since this study will utilize purposive sampling, which would include respondents based on an agreed upon criteria, only those who qualify will be chosen as the respondents. The separation cases were limited to those due to marital difficulties or marital breakdown such as divorce, legal separation, church annulment, mutual decision to separate, with or without legal agreement and being abandoned or left by a spouse and decision to leave the spouse. Scope and Delimitation Scope and Delimitation Semi-structured interview are the tools that will be used as means of gathering relevant data for the research The study placed prime importance to address the prevalent economic challenges associated with single-parent mothers within and outside the domestic circle and the coping tactics they employ. Among human foragers, males and females target different types of foods and share them with each other for a mutual or familial benefit Gender Relation a social role encompassing a range of behaviors and attitudes that are generally considered acceptable, appropriate, or desirable for a person based on that person's biological or perceived sex of, involving, or concerned with experience or actual use; not theoretical Practical Needs is a role undertaken by men and women to get paid / wages in cash or to produce goods that are not consumed (used) by themselves Productive Role role that is associated with the responsibilities of child care and domestic tasks required to ensure the maintenance and reproduction of labor regarding the continuity of the family to set or keep apart Reproductive Role Solo-parent mother - a person who lives with a child or children and who does not have a spouse or live-in partner Solo-parent mother Strategies a careful plan or method Survival the act or fact of living or continuing longer than another person or thing Chapter 2 Methodology Chapter 2 For this analysis, a qualitative approach was chosen for collecting the fundamental data focused on by this investigation. The method of study entails observational work with the collection of data that can confirm, refute, or challenge. Research Design Research Locale The researchers decided to carry out the research on Barangay San Vicente, located at Mexico, province of Pampanga. To conduct this research, semi-structured interviews was chosen. By encouraging the key informants to elaborate, the researchers would have more flexibility, variety, and thus the ability to extract more knowledge.
