Transcript: Is it just me, or have you ever wondered what other wonders you could do to your body? How you would feel after these wonders? Well, just do research! There are plenty places to check for that kind of stuff. I'd like to see what else I can do with my body other than just increase muscular strength. What I've learned throughout the modules. One of the most obvious things I know about my health is a fast metabolism. I can eat and eat and eat and eat, and never gain weight. I think it's a gift, but in a way, it may affect me in my later life. That's why I would like to start the weight lifting. I also noticed that my left side of my body is weaker than right. I write with my right hand, can type only with my right hand, cook, etc. So I need to maybe do some hand exercises with my left side and maybe some bicep curls. In the next slides, I will show examples of some ways to improve your health using a personal fitness plan. When I come home from school, I usually just shove my face into anything I want. But every since I took this class, I feel like i should be changing how I eat. I should lay off the flours, sweets, and pretty much anything that is bad for you. I LOVE salads too so I could eat those more often to be healthier. But a problem with eating that healthy, is that I burn all the food away from fast metabolism. So in the end, I think weight building and gaining muscular strength is key to my life at the moment. All thought we can't get away from this savory sweets, it's possible just not to look at them anymore! Personal Fitness Powerpoint Timothy Harris Period 3 Ms. Hunter What I noticed about my health In All: What I've learned about my physical life during this course During the length of this course, it's really made me question some good and bad habits of mine. I still need to try and pay attention to those goals. Some Interesting Info Also, there are a lot of other examples of what I've learned! I will include videos of such in this PPT. In personal fitness, you may see like, "what is so important about this class? What's so interesting?" Well, there are many important factors about this class. Pretty much to sum up this whole class is to improve overall health. What are some ways to improve your health? These examples are just a little of the many ways! I think I live a healthy life style. But some things need to change. Such as eating habits and exercise. There's always room to make your lifestyle a healthier one. I will improve in my cardio workouts, flexibility, strength, etc. I think this will make my life easier and healthier! In a way, not only do I need this, but everyone else should do this. There are some things that I want to improve my own health by. Some of these include Building muscular strength Eating right Exercising more Set goals Weight lifting As said in a previous slide, I explained how to improve overall health, but these are some ways I can improve my health. Exercise daily Have a good diet Watch out for health signs Be active Eating Patterns I've learned a lot throughout the modules. I learned how to improve my overall health, build muscular strength, flexibility, and how to improve a lot at home! This all comes in handy in my daily life. Lifestyle Choices Area's I'd like to explore about my overall health In all, this class will help me improve my life and others in many ways. What I would like to improve Here's a brief explanation of the FITT Principle. Some interesting facts include the following: There are weightlifters who can exceed a dead lift of over 500 lbs! Great with students, workers, family, etc. For example: With games like Jeopardy and Family Feud, players can pick practically any answers. The person who is running the game will have to have all of the answers in order to determine if players are correct or not. However, with a game like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, the players only have a choice between answers, A, B, C, or D. Therefore, when the player decides their answer, the person running the game clicks it, and the game will tell them whether they are right or wrong.
