Transcript: How does a polaroid camera work? How instant film works Polaroid cameras were followed by various other manufactures. These cameras give you instant film and print very shortly. The pictures are chemically developed. How instant film works Main Parts of a polaroid camera There are about 7 main parts of the polaroid camera. Veiw finder: shows the feild of bveiw on the lens Film advance wheel: Film casing: Lens holder: Carries the lens keeps it in place Lens: Piece of glass used to bend the rays of light to form an image Flash button: Pressed to make the flash go off. Flash: Specific light to give an image less darkness. Main Parts of a polaroid camera what does it do A couple minutes after you take a picture a photo developes. Polaroid cameras are loaded with film packs. When you take a picture, rollers inside the camera remove one negative from the pack and hold it in front of the camera lens. The negative is held in the same position for while the shutter opens, exposing the film to incoming light from the lens. After the required exposure time, the camera rollers eject the negative, allowing you to remove the picture. what does it do
