Great with students, workers, family, etc. For example: With games like Jeopardy and Family Feud, players can pick practically any answers. The person who is running the game will have to have all of the answers in order to determine if players are correct or not. However, with a game like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, the players only have a choice between answers, A, B, C, or D. Therefore, when the player decides their answer, the person running the game clicks it, and the game will tell them whether they are right or wrong.

Monsoon

Transcript: Monsoon the term monsoon is used to refer to the rainy phase of a seasonally-changing pattern, although technically there is also a dry phase. How Monsoons are formed. 1) Land tends to absorb while the ocean tends to reflect it; 2) Warm air rises; 3) Air always flow from cool place to warm place; and 4) Cool air cannot hold too much moisture. Arizona Monsoon Season The months of May and June tend to be very dry and warm months over Arizona. By the end of June, however, afternoon clouds can be seen building over the higher terrain of northern Arizona, and by the beginning of July, the skies typically begin to release its store of moisture. Thus, the monsoon represents the second rainy season for Arizona, with the first rainy season occurring during the cooler months of November through April. Monsoon safety Monsoons bring lots of dangers, lots of rain that can cause floods. And damaging winds that can cause power lines to break. Power and Communication Outages •It is impossible to detect if a downed utility line is energized. Damaging Winds •The vast majority of people killed in straight-line thunderstorm winds are struck by falling debris. •60-mph winds can lift the roof off a carport. •70-mph winds can turn a mobile home on its side if the mobile home is not anchored to the ground. •80-mph winds can lift the roof off a house. Lightning It does not have to be raining for there to be a lightning risk. Lightning flashes do occur outside the rain area in thunderstorms, and especially in southern Arizona, there can be dry thunderstorms that produce lightning with no rain. • Lightning activity varies greatly in southern Arizona. In a typical year, about ten times as many flashes occur in Nogales as in Phoenix. • Nearly all lightning deaths and injuries occur outside. • About 39 people each year are killed by lightning in the U.S. Ten times as many are injured. • Lightning typically travels ten miles or less from a thunderstorm. Flash floods •Flash floods can occur many miles away from a storm. •The vast majority of people killed in a severe storm or a flash flood are males. •Most people killed in flash floods were in a vehicle.
