(5) U.S. Supreme Court Review Docket No. 91-1523 Argued Wednesday, October 6, 1993 Should All Education Be Free? Most education is funded by state taxes, or privately instituted in schools. Amy Rowley was an eight year old hearing impaired student that required specialized equipment and accommodations for her in-class instruction at Furnace Woods Elementary School. Kids can get a good education and families can maintain their social class. Why have Free Education? Around 72% of students stay in-state in which the kids may not be able to go to a certain college that supplies their specialty or field(s) they want to enter in. Another reason free education should be mandated is because it is an individual right to be educated. It also promotes individual freedom, boosting individual self esteem with the power of education. Transcript: free education fay alsharif fatima althani fatima j althani ameena al sayed THANK YOU! what is education Education is the medium that gives us the skills, techniques, information and knowledge to know, understand and respect the duties we have towards our society, families and nation. Therefore, the magnitude of the importance of education in life is huge as well as multifold. The importance of education in life is that it helps everyone develop a good perspective of looking at the world and our society. Education helps us in getting new ideas and exploring new ideas. Why is education important? Education plays a pivotal role in all of our lives and paves the way for all of us to reach our highest potential. When we talk about the importance of education in life, it is extremely important to understand what is education Education helps a person to get knowledge and improve confidence in life. It can help you improve your career and your personal growth. An educated person can become a great citizen in society. It helps you to take the right decisions in life. The modern, developed and industrialised world is running on the wheels of education. To be able to survive in the competitive world, we all need education as a torch that leads the way. effects of lack of education People who are undereducated do not have the skills or confidence to speak up for themselves. This is a part of the reason many women remain oppressed in the developing world. Girls who are undereducated are married young – often still as children – and forced into domestic chores rather than education Poverty Education is pivotal in removing poverty from our society and our country. The clutches of poverty are very harsh and one of the main factors behind all the problems of our society. Most employed people say their education is the main reason they have their jobs and those who think otherwise are mistaken. Students make a big mistake, when they put education second, work part time while studying, then they give up studying. Lots of people do not look at job prospects before choosing a career. why should education be free The reasons for not finishing school or university vary and some could not afford to study while others did not really want to study. Approximately out of 100 %. 40 % of individuals graduated University 31% did not finish University 21% finished secondary school 8 % did not even finish secondary school. Also, free education means expanded access to education by everyone. So, instead of education being available to certain people based on social status, it expands to everyone to ensure that they can attend for free.
