Great with students, workers, family, etc. For example: With games like Jeopardy and Family Feud, players can pick practically any answers. The person who is running the game will have to have all of the answers in order to determine if players are correct or not. However, with a game like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, the players only have a choice between answers, A, B, C, or D. Therefore, when the player decides their answer, the person running the game clicks it, and the game will tell them whether they are right or wrong.

In the same aspect, the lack of these antibiotics could lead to very sick animals because of the conditions they are kept in Support Documentation Introduction With more awareness of where our products come from and how they are being handled, more action should be taken to make a stand against the corporations and government agencies to improve this industry. The Food Industry Along with bacterial and virul illnesses, the food industry has managed to cause several other comorbid conditions They like to blame it on the lack of self-control of an individual, but the reality is that they spend billions of dollars a year in order to make their product seem more enticing Animal Containment Government Food is a necessary part of life. Everyone eats, but not everyone realizes what they're eating or where it's coming from. That's where the food industry takes advantage of the lack of knowledge of the consumers. Antibiotics These antibiotics can have negative affects on the people who eat these animals (FDA) Conclusion Consumers Mass Production Even if no steps are taken to produce safer foods that are healthy for us, you can always make the personal choice to get fresher and higher quality products from a local farmers market. Finally to make the foods last longer on the shelf, they add fats, sugars, and salts to preserve it With this cross contamination, many foodborne illnesses arise Workers who cut up and package the meat need to be very careful With mass production at an all time high, it can be easy for simple things to be missed or ignored. The Cyclic Pattern Corporations Audience: American Consumers Purpose: To inform American consumers the reality of what they are actually eating. Farmers Antibiotics are regularly given to animals in order to fatten them up and keep them alive While processing the foods, accidents can happen Workers Safety If an animal is sick or been around contaminated feces, the processing of this animal can become highly problematic If even the slightest bit of bacteria from the feces on an animals hide gets into the meat being packaged, massive amounts of cross contamination can take place The animals are kept in areas called feedlots where they are packed in so tightly, it becomes unsanitary These can include: Antibiotics Animal containment Animal processing Nutritional Value ** According to the Center for Disease Control an estimated 265,000 e.coli infections occur each year in the United States. Transcript: The Food Industry What would happen if Sackville was cut off from all outside food? What if Toronto was cut off? Who would last longer? A small rural town like Sackville would be able to surive longer than an large urban town like Toronto. We will be able to live off the land during the summer months when the local farmers could farm the land. But what about during the winter months when there is no food comming from the land? We could live off the animals and their produce, like milk, meat, and eggs, but it would't sustain us for very long. The food in the stores would only be able to last us 3-4 days, if we are lucky. 90% of the meat brought in Sobeys is inspected in Ontario. That's about 791 miles away from Sackville. Only 26% of the produce in Sobeys is from Canadian producers. Thankfully, During the summer months, when farmers are able to grow the best fruit and vegatbles, 95% of the fruit and vegtable produce are from local farmers. The average Canadian spends between 500 and 800 dollars per month on food. That's 6000 - 9600 per year. 199 miles away from Sackville, Americans spend appromatly 112 billion dollars on fast food annually. The fast food industry has taken a negative toll on under developed countrys. They are taking away from the people who grow produce there. Large fast food compaines, like Mcdonalds, and Taco Bell have taken over in many countries over seas now. They have taken away protental buyers from the inpoveish, and they are now going to this fast food suppliers. Without the purchase of thier product/produce, they just keep falling deeper and deeper into poverty. Fast food chains are starting to pop up all over the world now. The effect of the new American fast food chains are robbing the people of thier culture. They are Americanizing countries that were once rich with unquie culture, are losing it because of places like Mcdonalds, Wendy's, Taco Bell, and Burger King. The spread of these fast food chains is having an adverse impact on the Chinese economy and the health of the Chinese population. The number and diversity of fast-food restaurants across China has expanded at an increasingly fast rate, and if it continues then the negative trends we are seeing now will only get worse Did you know we are in the middle of a global food crisis? Food prices are on the rise, and less and less poeple are able to afford enough food for thier family Record world prices for most staple foods have led to 18% food price inflation in China( About 6795 miles away), 13% in Indonesia( About 9548 miles away) and Pakistan( About 6543 miles away), and 10% or more in Latin America( About 2000 miles away), Russia( About 5054 miles away) and India (About 7315 miles away), according to the UN Food and Agricultural Officals officals. Wheat and corn is nearly 50% higher than a year ago and rice is 20% more expensive, says the UN http://www.climatechoices.org.uk/pages/food1.htm#Windies New Orleans is about 1743 miles away from Sackville.
