With this I liased with the project leads and academics to improve the initial findings. Trello Board Trello Within this piece of work, I used Trello. A kanban style list making application. This was extremely helpful in being able to visualise information and being more efficient when using a large board such as the sharepoint. Project Analsysis Analysis Pre-information ~ 32 projects with no pages or information 8 without emails or names 21 with no reply 13 projects with academic confirmed SDGs and targets No Projects aligned with ~ 1. No Poverty 2. Zero Hunger 7. Affordable and clean energy 12. Responsible consumption and production 16. Peace, Justice and Strong insitutions 17. Partnerships for the Goals Analysis in Pictures Analysis in pictures Trello Board in Pictures Trello in pictures What are the next steps for this project? Next steps 1. Identify why some projects have no information 2. Encourage academics to reply to the email sent 3. Explore SDGs and targets of consultations and more 4. Move the work from trello onto the sharepoint to centralise the work Why are PPS completing this project? The reasons for linking projects to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: Why? 1. Support and highlight the impact of research on the national and international sustainability agendas 2. Allow students and academics to find research based on the Sustainable Development Goals 3. Identify what areas of research Public Policy Southampton focusses its interest on Part 2: Analsysis and Synthesis of Consultations Part 2 Summary: In my final part of the internship I have focussed on transfering data from PPS outputs, using flow, ensuring all data is captured and correct. Carrying out an analysis of the consultations and putting them into more relevant categories to make information easier to access. Why are PPS completing this project? Why? The reasons for transfering and refining data from scanned consultations: 1. To capture the evolution of priorities for government and committies to inform our own activities 2. Correct and concise information 3. Identify which outputs have not been taken further by PPS and why, is there new data that means we can now take action? The sharepoint board Sharepoint What are the next steps for this project? Next Steps 1. Complete all columns with analysis and data 2. Start work on synthesis of consultations 3. Identify which consultations have produced further reports How have I found working with PPS? I've really enjoyed my time with PPS, I have found communication between colleagues great and found everyone to be very helpful, the atmosphere around working is very positive. Working closely with Aiysha, Wassim and Fatima has meant that my work has been easier to complete with their suggestions and guidance being very useful. Also, the hybrid working style has made it very easy to get work done and in comfort. Conclusion

Import data tables into SQL Convert Access queries into SQL code using SQL view Paste SQL code into a new query window on the SQL server Debug and change syntax to appropriate SQL syntax Select Queries = Views Any other type of Query = Stored Procedure Farmers Insurance moving all data to SQL Servers SQL is faster and can store much more information than MS Access Coding is different for SQL and MS Access, so the data must be manually transferred Converted Auto, WC, and CMP commercial data Imports need to be remade so that they pull data from SQL and not MS Access Can also be made to pull from text file directly CATs are erratic and have a large range of severity Lots of changes in the book because of CAT mitigation CATs are seasonal and happen randomly Performed analysis by accident month instead of accident quarter Problems with CAT Analysis Converting Data from MS Access to SQL My Take on SQL General Methodology MS Access databases can only hold up to 2GB of data SQL server can accomodate many users at once SQL server requires login and password for increased security SQL Server is faster than MS Access More Examples
