Transcript: My Education Experience By: Madalyne Flynn My Education The Foundation of My Education I began my education in elementary school. Immediately I began to struggle. I fell behind in all my classes and felt that other students weren't struggling to the degree that I was. My Education The Foundation of My Education Background (Part 2) Later through middle school I began to see a light shining on my dark idea of education. With the help of others I found a way to find and use my strengths to improve my struggles. My Education The Foundation of My Education Background (Part 3) To this day I still have academic struggles. Nevertheless, I feel I have more of a handle on these struggles than ever before due to the education experiences I have encountered. The experiences I can recall while going through school are much tougher than I would like to admit. With that being said I feel that this has helped me get to the place I am educationally. For example, being placed in a small class setting allowed me to focus better and to go after my best. I feel this will apply to my students who may need individual learning accommodations as well. I believe that my experiences have prepared me for my teaching career. I will be able to guide my students on their best path to success. Specific Experiences My Experiences Classroom Issues Curriculum in the classroom is a wide spread topic, my biggest fear when being responsible for a child's education, is that I would fail at reaching every child in their particular style of learning. That in turn, could cause a negative reaction to learning and school in general. As for a general critical issue, I would say curriculum being taught to each child's learning preference is a critical issue. Critical Issues in the Classroom When this issue presents itself, personally I feel that solutions such as one on one learning time with the students struggling could solve these issues. As for the students that may strive with the curriculum, I could as for them to pair up with the students that may be falling behind, and would be open to peer on peer help. This same solution I feel helped me throughout my education timeline, the friends I had were the striving students and were able to help me catch up, and strive as well.
