The, decide and create a series of questions that are to be asked during the game. 3. By hyper linking certain answers to different slides, the game jumps from slide to slide while playing the game. 4. This kind of setup is normally seen as a simple quiz show game. Popular game templates include: Family Feud Millionaire Jeopardy and other quiz shows. http://www.free-power-point-templates.com/deal-powerpoint-template/ Quick video on template "Millionaire" PowerPoint Games Some games are easier to make compared to others If users are unsure whether or not downloading certain templates is safe, you can actually make your own game by just simply using PowerPoint. add logo here References Example of a Family Feud Template PowerPoint Games are a great way to introduce new concepts and ideas You can create a fun, competitive atmosphere with the use of different templates You can change and rearrange information to correlate with the topic or idea being discussed. Great with students, workers, family, etc. For example: With games like Jeopardy and Family Feud, players can pick practically any answers. The person who is running the game will have to have all of the answers in order to determine if players are correct or not. However, with a game like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, the players only have a choice between answers, A, B, C, or D. Therefore, when the player decides their answer, the person running the game clicks it, and the game will tell them whether they are right or wrong.

Transcript: Computer Graphics Vector Graphics Made up of many individual, scalable objects. Always have the highest quality as they are based more on mathematical equations than pixels. (Pixels: A minute area of illumination on a display screen, one of many from which an image is composed.) Can easily be converted to bitmaps. This process is called rasterizing. Popular Vector Images Programs are Adobe Illustrator, and CorelDRAW. Vector Images description Bitmap images are resolution dependent. (It's hard to change the image's size to have a perfect shape as it is resolution dependent. You can change it with help of software's resample, which throws away the pixels.) Good method of reproducing 'continuous tone' images, such as photographs. When printing bitmaps, your printer needs much more image data than a monitor. Examples of Bitmap Applications: Microsoft Paint, Adobe Photoshop. Anti- aliasing ( smoothing): used in bitmap-based images to reduce the stair-stepping appearance. Bit depth quantifies how many unique colors are available in an image's color palette in terms of "bits," which are used to specify each color. Common color depths include 8-bit (256 colors) and 24-bit (16 million colors). Disadvantages: 1)bitmaps are memory intensive, and the higher the resolution, the larger the file size. 2) pixels squares become visible and the illusion of a smooth image is lost to the viewer. An example of Photoshop use. Example of Vector Images Bitmap Images Example Bitmap Images Description Bitmap Images Made up of pixels in a grid. (Most computer monitors display approximately 70 to 100 pixels per inch--the actual number depends on your monitor and screen settings.) The colorful cat is an example of Photoshop use. Two main classifications: 1. Vector Graphics 2. Bitmap Graphics This example is bitmap image and the same pictured zoomed in. Resolution independent (resolution: the detail an image holds.) Even if size of angle of the image will be changed the image will remain the same crisp and sharp. Not restricted to a rectangular shape like bitmaps. If the image will be placed under another image it still can be seen. Primary disadvantage is that they're unsuitable for producing photo-realistic imagery. Conversion software is required to use Vector graphics.
