CSU offers numerous, too many to name, sports, clubs, events, and activites. CSU offers things suchs as SGA, homecoming, ROTC, Miss CSU, Student leadership, baseball, soccer, basketball, softball, cross country, gold, tennis, track, volleyball, and many, many more. Housing Columbus is home to the popular Chattahoochee WhiteWater Express which is a river rapids course through the heart of Columbus. The Columbus River Walk, beautiful historic downtown including restored textile factories, historic housing districts, and the Singer Opera House draw large crowds of tourists every weekend. Also, located roughly 3 miles away in Phenix City, Alabama is the fames East Alabama Motor Speedway which is home to 3 of the largest racing events in the southern portion of the United States.
