Classroom Rules for Teachers!

Transcript: Produce good people, not just good students Conclusion Just as having students get good grades and do well in their classes, it is equally important, if not more, to help build good human beings. We want our students to leave school and be know how to act appropiately in their day to day life. It is ok for students to see that being a good person can get you far in life. As teachers it is our job to not only be educators but motivators. We must listen to our students to their wants and needs. We must be their helping hand. The Future is now! Passion Please! It is our duty and responsibility as teachers to make students feel that they are their second home. Our classroom is an extension of their own family. Just as having a good lesson plan, building a comfortable enviornment is just as important. We should make it where students are excited not only for us, but the curriculum Classroom Rules for Teachers! Technology is our friend! With so much advancement, teaching has become not only more hands on, but easier to reaching out to students. We must continue to use the smartboard and any other resources to help students. As technology advances, the utilities that we have to help our students have made it exciting to help students learn. The future is now and we have to follow the path. Together as One Be the person you want your students to become We should develop a program and curriculum that adapts to the needs of the students. We should show them real ways to apply their learning instead of being robots and just reading off information. Students feed off your energy. In doing so you build rapport and trust with your students. Students will respect us more in doing so. If we have certain expectations from our students, we must first demonstrate our own commitment to each of them. Take the time to know your students. You will spend more time with them than your family or loved ones. Make yourself available to your students (before school, after school, lunch time, etc...) When they see our commitment to them, they become more sincere and in theory, want to be successful. Through teaching (English, Math, German, etc..) we are opening up new ideas and worlds for students. We are preparing them for life after high school. We have the power to help open doors for them that many students do not have the opportunity. We can't show them our negativity. When students see positivity, it will pass it along to them. As teachers, we are helping students for life outside of academics. Keep it real. Keep it simple. Be creative Success in teaching never happens by seperating yourself from others. We are in this together. From the teacher across the hall, the administration, we are all in this together. In education, it's not having one amazing teacher, it's surrounding yourself with an amazing group of dedicated people. Throughout the year, we will have up and down moments, but we need to stay focused as a team and remember why we are here...for them! Don't do it alone

Great with students, workers, family, etc. For example: With games like Jeopardy and Family Feud, players can pick practically any answers. The person who is running the game will have to have all of the answers in order to determine if players are correct or not. However, with a game like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, the players only have a choice between answers, A, B, C, or D. Therefore, when the player decides their answer, the person running the game clicks it, and the game will tell them whether they are right or wrong.
