Transcript: MESSAGE FROM DARLEINE A Project By: St. George Newnan Life Teen WELCOME Opening Prayer: - Volunteer's?????? KING WHAT IS TRUTH? Jesus is not like any king of this world, and His Kingdom does not look like the kingdoms we are familiar with He associated with the outcasts and dined with the tax collectors (Mark 2:15-17, Matthew 11:19). Jesus’ Kingdom is likened to a mustard seed and to a pearl of great price, which are both small and hidden at first, but grow to be strong and found of great value (Matthew 13:21-31, 45-46). Jesus’ authority is absolute and extends into eternity where He reigns as King forever and ever (CCC 554- 555). Jesus was not who the Jews were expecting as their Messiah. They put Him to death because of what He said and taught and who He claimed to be (Mark 15:16-20, John 19:19-20). But death could not stop Him, for Jesus has authority over life and death. His reign could not be ended with death, because His kingdom is not of this world. We can choose to accept or reject Christ’s authority, but we do not have the power to overrule it (John 18:36). THE KINGDOM OF GOD https://d3ldtt2c6t0t08.cloudfront.net/files/nczohocpa5ccy/2017/03/25/U5TFHRN7A6XDD6XTX3Q4BVHZS4/main_OUTPUT.tmp.mp4 We become members of the Kingdom of God by our Baptism (CCC 1263). We are called to follow Christ and be obedient to His authority (John 10:1-11). We will find true freedom and fulfillment in this obedience. THE KING WILL COME AGAIN The Kingdom of God is not yet fulfilled; there is still good and evil at work in the world.Eastern Orthodox Christians The mustard seed is still growing, and Christ is still calling men and women to find the pearl of great price to find Him. Jesus will come again at the end of time and all people will be judged; all good and evil actions will be revealed (CCC 1038-1039). Those who were obedient to Christ will go to eternal happiness in Heaven; those who were disobedient will go to eternal suffering in Hell (CCC 1039). We have hope because Jesus died for us and gives us everything we need to make it to Heaven, but we also have to live lives reflecting that we are a part of His Kingdom. You have a CHOICE to make? Personal Prayer Everyone line up in three equal lines Here is an Ex.: ICE CREAM SUNDAES & BANANA SPLIT TIME !!! PRAISE AND WORSHIP The End The main place of worship for Catholic people are Cathedrals. Cathedrals are the principal church of a Bishop's diocese and containing the episcopal throne. A Diocese is a district under the care of a Christianic Bishop. The Episcopal throne is a symbol of the Anglican Churches that are located in the U.S. and Scotland. Sermons, Religious ceremonies, readings and even weddings will often times be held at Catholic Cathedrals. The terminology between churches and cathedrals are often times confused. Lutheran Christians Major celebrations and festivals Nativity (Christmas) Holy week -Palm Sunday -Good Friday Easter The old Testament also provides God's laws (Ten Commandments). The Ten Commandments are the sacred morals that every human being should follow. If these laws are broken then one should repent. IIleana Gonzalez Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ three days after his death. Catholic beliefs are practically identical to any other form of Christianity, with some slight nuances when compared to others. Catholics live by the morals provided by the Mosaic Law (Ten Commandments) founded by Moses on the Mountain of Sinai. If one chooses to follow these laws and repent to the ones that they broke then they may have a safe passage to heaven, after the day of resurrection. Catholics believe in Jesus Christ and that he is the son of God. They also believe Jesus Christ was crucified under Pontius Pilot and was resurrected three days later. You're to turn to the person behind you and pray a prayer for them. The last row will move to now being the first and pray for those behind you. Holy writings Place of worship Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. WORLDLY KINGDOMS God(s) and who they are. ---------- ---------- ---------- Chris he King The new Testament also talks about the book of revelations, and how judgement day will happen in an apocalyptic scenario. Where non-believers will stay and watch the apocalypse as it unfolds, while believers go through the rapture and their souls are saved. Chris & Sean A KING UNLIKE ANY OTHER Good Friday is the remembrance of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Major Beliefs The most famous writings of Catholicism is the Bible. The Bible is split up into two Sections. The old testament and the new testament. The old testament is equivalent to the Jewish Torah. It describes how God created the universe, Earth, people, and how major events happened. For example the flood and the Exodus. The new Testament talks about the birth of Jesus Christ. Catholics and other forms of Christianity, believe that Jesus is the son of God who was sent from heaven to teach people the way of

Pilate answered, "I am not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests handed you over to me. What have you done?" Jesus answered, "My kingdom does not belong to this world. If my kingdom did belong to this world, my attendants would be fighting to keep me from being handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my kingdom is not here." So Pilate said to him, "Then you are a king?" Jesus answered, "You say I am a king. The person who is running the game will have to have all of the answers in order to determine if players are correct or not. However, with a game like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, the players only have a choice between answers, A, B, C, or D. Therefore, when the player decides their answer, the person running the game clicks it, and the game will tell them whether they are right or wrong.
