In reality some college students are sexual active, and some are not. Being educated however, can hurt anyone! First Off.... First Off.... Questions for You??? How many of you like to attend social gatherings with friends? How many can honestly say you are safe the majority of the time? How many of you value yourselves? How many of you think about possible outcomes of a situation? How many of you value your safety? Questions for You??? Some people think they are being safe when they are having sexual intercorse with someone they know or "love." "Safe sex" is an action. It is things peole can conduct to reduce the chances of sexually transmitted infections (STI's), or unwanted pregnancy. Which increases the risk of an STI, unwanted pregnancy, and also is an act of sexual assult. Lets Say... Sexual Assult is any form of sexual contact without voluntary consent. It is common in our society, and more commonly overlooked. People say "it's not rape if they where flirting first," or "Saying no is just playing hard to get" Consent is everything, take it as a cup of tea from a friend. Sexual Assult When it Comes to Your Sexual Health... Take a drink that you didn't make yourself. Stay in an enviornment that you believe to be unsafe. Continue to stay in a relationship that is unhealthy. Diminish your experience. Don't Use condoms Take birth control Have a safe group of friends Be aware of your surroundings. Do If you answered value your safety how will you use this information? Will you continue using means of protection for yourself? Can you consider changing things you do or don't do, to insure your safety? Questions to You??? As an adult, your sexuality is your business just as all the other health concepts from this chapter.
