However, some templates may cost more money depending on the complexity of the game. Classroom Games that Make Test Review and Memorization Fun! (n.d.). The, decide and create a series of questions that are to be asked during the game. 3. By hyper linking certain answers to different slides, the game jumps from slide to slide while playing the game. 4. This kind of setup is normally seen as a simple quiz show game. Popular game templates include: Family Feud Millionaire Jeopardy and other quiz shows. http://www.free-power-point-templates.com/deal-powerpoint-template/ Quick video on template "Millionaire" PowerPoint Games Some games are easier to make compared to others If users are unsure whether or not downloading certain templates is safe, you can actually make your own game by just simply using PowerPoint. add logo here References Example of a Family Feud Template PowerPoint Games are a great way to introduce new concepts and ideas You can create a fun, competitive atmosphere with the use of different templates You can change and rearrange information to correlate with the topic or idea being discussed. Great with students, workers, family, etc. For example: With games like Jeopardy and Family Feud, players can pick practically any answers. The person who is running the game will have to have all of the answers in order to determine if players are correct or not. However, with a game like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, the players only have a choice between answers, A, B, C, or D. Therefore, when the player decides their answer, the person running the game clicks it, and the game will tell them whether they are right or wrong.

Something New Shelby Platt

Transcript: Something New: Prezi Shelby Platt Introduction All About Prezi "Prezi offers a great alternative to the traditional presentation format that goes slide by slide" (Velarde, 2021). Allows for creators to be more creative and add different aspects to their presentations. Provides a new style to presentations that is being used by businesses and individuals. Pre-made templates are available for use that creators can edit to make their own. 3 Key Elements Key Elements "For one thing, Prezi is completely free to use" (What is Prezi?, 2020). "Rather than offering a slide-by-slide presentation, it’s more of a visual and interactive mind map, wherein you interact with different elements on a virtual canvas" (Velarde, 2021). "There are plenty of templates to choose from, and you can also start from scratch" (Team, 2018). Free to Use Element 1 As a broke college student the fact that a program is free is a huge incentive. However, if needed there are upgrades you can pay for if you need more than what the free option offers. Interactive map Element 2 Prezi has a different set up that allows for more creativity. The creator can create their presentation to flow in many different directions. This helps the creator to add their own style and touch to the presentation. Templates Element 3 Prezi offers many templates that creators can use. They are quite useful and add a different touch to presentations. However, they can be tricky to figure out in the beginning and get a hang of. Good attributes of Prezi Loved I really enjoy the creativity of prezi. It is much more fun and colorful than PowerPoint. I also like the templates that are provided. Prezi leads the eye in different ways than PowerPoint which is more fun and entertaining. Dislikes with Prezi Disliked One dislike I had was formatting. There were not as many options as PowerPoint which was frustrating. I also disliked how copy and paste worked. It would change my formatting. Recommendation Conclusion Overall, I would recommend Prezi to many people I found it a bit difficult in the beginning but began to grow more comfortable. Prezi is more entertaining and engaging than PowerPoint which helped my motivation to make a presentation. References References Team, V. (2018, May 25).
