Worship Arts Presentation
Transcript: We often quench the Holy Spirit. We can get so caught up with religion and rules in our heads, that we forget how to receive with our hearts. Mark 10:15 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." Luke 18:17 I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." Climax: A CALL TO WORSHIP READINg: Reader 1: When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Reader 2: They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of the bread, and to prayer. Reader 1: Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. Reader 2: The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit. Reader 1: They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. (Time 4:00 mins): We try to control everything in our modern, American culture.
