Eddie Russo: Eddie is white in the Black and white and even though he didn't kill anybody he did the right thing and confessed against himslef and his friend and even though i mess up there friendship for awhile inside he new he did the right thing He want to the City University of New York and earned a B.A. in English Literature and from Baruch College he got a M.A. In American Literature by Hibai Watson Characters Theme Marcus Brown: Marcus is black he is Eddie Russo's best friend. he was the man who shot and killed the bus driver and he is the won who didn't tell about Eddie or say he was apart of it. and even though he was scared he didn't run away from the his consequences. About this book I think this book has three main messages one is to not to betray your friends. The second is to always do the right thing. But in the end i think the main message is to not do something bad without facing the consequence. Paul Volponi This book is about to best friends named Marcus Brown and Eddie Russo. these two kids are both basket ball stars.they both get scolarship but they messed there chance buy trying to get a little bit of money in there hands. they tried doing this by mugging people on the streets or on a bus and in the end they end up killing the bus driver and get caught red handed. and so in the end it test there friend ship to not betray eachother but also to do the right thing.

Transcript: Both Eddie and Marcus are in high school and want some money. They think the best and fastest way to do so is to stick up people coming out of stores. On one of these stick ups one mistake was made. It was carrying a gun because during a stick up Eddie accidently fired the weapon so the two fled. The man the stuck up that night recognized Marcus but not Eddie. So Marcus got busted. Being a true friend he is, Marcus doesn’t rat out Eddie and takes the blame. Both Eddie and Marcus had dreams of play basketball professionally but now they are unsure it will happen. Also their friendship is now on the line. Will Marcus speak up or not? You’ll have to read to find out the rest! The quotes that stood out were the ones that held emotion and stress. Paul made these quotes constantly throughout the story, which I think made the book even better than it was. I think Paul, the author, was trying to tell his readers when life is good don’t mess it up. Also when you could completely avoid a bad situation do so. Think about the consequences of the action before you do it That’s the message I think Paul was trying to get to in the novel Black and White. jkljljiju Reflections By:Brian Balanzar Eddie and Marcus are the two main characters in this story. They happen to be the same age at 18 years old and are seniors at Long-Island High School. Eddie is white and short. He has a sister named Rose, which is who Marcus likes, and a mom. They robbed people for their money, so they could get some new shoes for the basketball team. Marcus shot an old man, and he got arrested the next day, but Eddie didn't got arrested. When Marcus got arrested Eddie had to make a choice that he was there with Marcus that night or donesn't say anything, so he could focus on his scholarship for basketball. Eddie: is white.
