The Lost Coin
Transcript: Assets Costume for: Helen Kindler Costume for: Donald Kindler Costumes for: Jeff Kindler Set: Decoration/Style Set: Type of House For my version of "The Lost Coin", I want the set to look like a rowhouse from the late '80s in Philly, PA. Because these kinds of homes are so narrow, I believe I would choose to make it lay across the stage rather than facing it head-on like in the pictures. And although it is common to have an open doorway into the kitchen, I would likely put some double doors where that opening would be to make it more suitable for being on-stage. The pictures above have the kind of mood I would go for. I would like to include dark wood and colors to make the house look somewhat sad, old, and kind of comfortable. In a way where you would only find comfort in the house if it was the only comfort you knew. The picture above is most like what I envision the set to look overall in color, style, and decoration. This picture shows the level of decoration and pretty much what I would want it to be; books, wood, and random things.
