Housekeeping Tools and Equipment Floor Polisher used to clean and maintain non-carpeted floors, such as hardwood, marble, tile or linoleum Vacuum Cleaner sucks up dust and dirt, usually from floors, and optionally from other surfaces as well Toilet Bowl Brush used to clean the upper area of the toilet, around the bowl Mop w/ Handle used to soak up liquid, for cleaning floors and other surfaces, or to mop up dust, or for other cleaning purposes Window
Squeegees used to remove or control the flow of liquid on a flat surface Ceiling Broom used to remove cobwebs and dirt on high areas/surfaces Tongs used for picking dirty particles or trash (for sanitary purposes) Trash
Bags used to contain trash, or line the insides of trash containers Stick Broom a cleaning tool consisting of stiff fibers attached to, and roughly parallel to, a cylindrical handle Sponge used for cleaning impervious surfaces (they are especially good absorbers of water and water-based solutions) Bucket a watertight, vertical cylinder or truncated cone, with an open top and a flat bottom, usually attached to a semicircular carrying handle Warning
