The purpose of the Electric Race is: To re-establish tradition of historical race between Tallinn and Monte Carlo. To promote environmentally friendly electric vehicles. To connect Northern and Southern Europe with environmentally friendly road covered with electric plugs for electric vehicles. To develop cooperation between different regions in Europe. Electric Race Tallinn - Monte Carlo passes through eight European countries and 24 cities.
Ceremonial cup in Tallinn and finish cup in Monte Carlo are festive cultural events dedicated to historic Tallinn - Monte Carlo Rally tradition. The honour guest and an advocate of the event is H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. Estonia's EXO Bikes electric scooters can be tested on the test drive area. A new Estonian invention swing-sport called Kiiking makes a demo and will be open for public to test. Environment Tent introduces sustainable living and environmentally friendly lifestyle. Estonian Road Museum will bring two small electric cars, which children can ride with their parents. End of the event 18:00 Ceremonial Tallinn cup 2. June 2011 Start at 14:00 in front of Estonian National Opera Finish in Rotermanni square Schedule 13:30 start area in front of National Opera is open for visitors 14:00 opening of the event H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, president of Republic of Estonia Mr. Toomas Hendrik Ilves and his wife Mrs. Evelin Ilves, the Mayor of Tallinn Mr. Edgar Savisaar and the representatives of the government of Estonia will participate in the opening ceremony.

Emcee introduces the rally, cars, drivers and program. 14:10-14:35 cars take off at 2 min intervals A historic diesel powered racing car will go on track first. H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco waves the start flag.

Next 5-6 electric cars that will participate in the whole marathon from Tallinn to Monte Carlo will go on the track. After them about 7-8 cars participating only in the Tallinn cup will go on track.

The track runs around Tallinn Old Town and goes to Pirita, where the cars drive along old Kalev racing track and head back to Rotermanni square in the centre. The cars will not race for the fastest time. Instead they have to aim for a pre-determined driving time and they will drive in normal traffic.

When all the cars are on the track, the emcee and spectators will walk to Rotermanni square. 14:40-15:10 cars will arrive to Rotermanni square After the race H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco will visit VIP zone in the III floor of US Gallery and sign the guest book of Tallinn. 15:45 opening of the bench dedicated to Grace Kelly near CC Plaza cinema H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, Mrs. Evelin Ilves and Tallinn mayor Mr. Edgar Savisaar open a bench dedicated to Grace Kelly.
H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and Mrs. Evelin Ilves leave to Old Town Educational College. 15:20 race winners awards ceremony US Gallery has a balcony which opens to Rotermanni square and is suitable for following the event and salute the public. In summary:

16:00 to 16:30 Estonian Music and Theatre Academy electronic music performance
15:00 to 18:00 Rotermanni square open for visitors to see electric cars and other exhibits and performances Emcee: an actor and car fanatic Raivo E. Tamm Activities in Rotermanni square 15:00-18:00 different activities and performances in Rotermanni square. SEBE team buses will be parked in Rotermanni square and in front of Estonian Opera house. These buses will accompany the race cars from Tallinn to Monte Carlo and they will have all the logos of the supporters on them. Renewable Energy Ltd speaks about the benefits of solar panels. Estonian Energy Electric Rabbit, promotion for sustainable energy, distribution of mini windmills for children. Fund KredEx tent NGO Samsaara demonstrates how to build a small DIY, but perfectly working electric windmill. ENSTO introduces charging stations for electric cars. BestKiteBoarding.ee makes demo rides of electric skateboards. JMI Invest LLC shows what can be done with the help of Powerisers. 16:00-16:30 Estonian Music and Theatre Academy musicians:
