Right click internals and create new folder
Name the folder interviews
Repeat the process creating folders for:

Images

Literature

Social Media

Videos

Audio

Open interviews folder

Right click on list view

Select import

Select import documents

This can be anywhere in the white space!
To open your interview double click on the name and it will appear in the detail view below.

Remember a node is just another word for a code!!!
Open node folder

Right click detail view

Create new node
This can be anywhere in the white space!
You can now name your first node
Repeat the process creating your nodes
Browse and select Dilshova interview to import

Highlight text you want to code
Drag and drop highlighted text to the chosen node

Click OK

Useful for multiple node selection

This can be anywhere in the white space!

Using the same method you can import audio and video files
You can now bring in literature documents via pdf or word

This is a great tool for organising and writing your literature review!

You can code images through the drag and drop method
You can create notes about an element of the image

MEMOS
Memos are stored in their own folder as they are a different source of data.

They are your reflections, interpretations and insights into the data you have gathered.

ANNOTATIONS
Annotations provide a space for reminders/signposts as you go through the data

An annotation field will open at the bottom of the document's detail view.

NCAPTURE
NVivo installs the NCapture add-on for Internet Explorer and Chrome

Adds a button to your browser

You can NCapture websites, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and YouTube

NCAPTURE
Click NCapture icon

You can choose to import feed with or without Retweets/comments

When importing a data set you are only restricted in terms of what is available to you in terms of privacy rights
