Foundation Video Reproduction Koala By Kayli Bartell Koalas are very fussy eaters their diets conist of leaves from a eucalyptus tree. The leaves contain lots of fiber but are low in nutrition. There life span depends on their stress factor most commonly they live 13-18 years Habitat It is important for eucalypts trees to be present in the place these trees are koalas favorite food. Koalas are very common in Australia Diet Koalas breed once a year. Usually one baby koala is born it cant hear or see when it's first born. The young koala is carried on the mothers back until year one at that age the young koala will go on it's own. Life outlook of a Koala There are only about 2,000 to 8,000 koalas left they are not classified as endangered yet the population has dropped by at least 90 percent due to destruction in the koalas natural habitat. Population of Koalas Random Facts Koalas are actually not bears they are releated to kanagaroos and wombats.
Are mostly nocturnal.
Young Koalas are called Joeys
