REGION
Region is a part of world that share one or more common characteristics.
PLACE
The features (physical and human) of a place that make it unique.

LOCATION
Location has two terms named:
Absolute Location-Latitude and longitude or postal codes
Relative Location-Road signs,directions

Ancient Greece was actually in Athens. Athens is near the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. Athens is in the South-East of Greece. Greece is under Europe, Europe is next to Asia.

Ancient Greece wasn't like Ancient Egypt. There wasn't available soil to grow things and there wasn't fresh water. So people moved to other countries.

This stone shows a two wheeled chariot with 4 horses. There are two people in the chariot.
The Mycenaean Greeks made use of chariots
in battle
The Ancient Greeks lived in mainland Greece and the Greek islands, but also in Turkey, and in colonies scattered around the Mediterranean sea coast. There were Greeks in Italy, Sicily, North Africa and as far west as France. Sailing the sea to trade and find new land, Greeks took their way of life to many places.
