Helping the Flower and Potted Plant Sector Reach 90% Sustainability by 2020
Challenge
The flower and potted plant supply chains want to be more sustainable. The main challenges are water management, pesticides and labor conditions. Although the issues are clear, the many sustainability standards make it difficult to know where to invest the most impactfully.

Helps growers, traders and retailers find impactful investments
Once growers, traders and retailers know where to invest they can
make a clear plan. FSI can co-invest in the plan to increase impact at scale and drive innovation.
FSI provides a platform for
pre-competitive collaboration to develop shared business interests and sector innovations.
This combined approach helps the sector reach their goal of achieving 90% of internationally traded flowers and plants by FSI members, sustainablility produced by 2020.
