All of these Medal of Honor recipients have showed valor, while risking their lives for others, both innocents and soldiers. They also faced their darkest fears.
Jack Weinstein
While under attack, Jack Weinstein provided cover for his troops. He single-handedly kept the enemy at bay until the backup came in He survived the battle in Kumson, Korea.
Mary Edward Walker
Mary E.Walker was awarded the Medal of Honor because she volunteered for Union Surgeon. She helped soldiers recover from injuries.
Ty Micheal Carter was awarded the Medal of Honor because of his action at war against Afghanistan because he refused Aid after being shot in the leg to save a Scout .
Juan E. Negron was among three other Puerto Ricans whose Distinguished Service Cross was upgraded to the Medal of Honor. He was the first Puerto Rican to receive a highest medal. He also won the Purple Heart award.
All of the Medal of Honor recipients have showed courage by setting examples and doing extraordinary things in dangerous situation.
All of these recipients have showed patriotism bynever giving up, even when giving up would've been easier.
The recipients showed Honor by acting modest when they could have bragged to others.
