Transcript of Outer Space
is 74,600 miles, which is 10 times the size
of the Earth. Saturn's rings are made up of billions of rocks and dust. Saturn has no solid surfaces,
because it is made up of a gas
ball, and it doesn't have a solid inner core. Saturn's atmosphere mostly comprises
of Helium and Hydrogen. Saturm is 4.5 billion years old. Moon
. the moon is not considered as a planet, but a
satellite for Earth.
. the surface area is 14,658,000 square miles or 9.4
. Only 59% of the moons surface is visible from Earth.
. the moon is about 1/4 the size of Earth.
. the moon is 4.5 billion years old.
. the moon is about 81 billion tons.
. the sun is just one of about 100 billion stars
in our galaxy.
. its core temperature is 15 million degrees celcius
. consists it is made of 75% hydrogen and 25% helium.
. the sun was made probably 4.5 billion years ago.
. it will probably continue to exist in its exist form for about another 5 billion years before running out of hydrogen.
. there are nine planets orbiting the sun; Mercury, Venus, Earth,
Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
. Pluto is smaller Earth's moon.
. Pluto has an enormous moon for its size,
Charon. It is more than half the size of Pluto.
. Pluto's thin atmosphere contains traces of
methane, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide.
. Technically, Pluto's name is now 134340
after being declassified as a planet.
. Pluto is not classified as an actual planet, but
as a dwarf planet.
. Pluto was discovered by Clyde Tombaugh.
. The Sun would look like a bright star, since
they are so far away from each other. The Sun Saturn's rings will one day disappear. They will spread out into space by its pull of gravity. This isn't likely to happen anytime soon, more than likely occurring in ten of millions of years time. Sixth planet from the Sun, between Jupiter and Uranus Jupiter Jupiter is the largest planet in our Solar System. The atmosphere of Jupiter consists of about 84 percent Hydrogen and about 15 percent helium. Jupiter is the 5th closest planet to our sun. Jupiter rotates faster than any planet in the Solar System.
It rotates so quickly that the days are only 10 hours long... The great red spot on Jupiter is a storm that has been going on for over 300 years.
You can fit 100 Earths into Jupiter's great red spot. The Earth Uranus Uranus is the coldest planet in the solar system Uranus is turned over and rotates on its side The first planet discovered in modern age It only has been visited one time It has 27 moons Can be seen without a telescope or binocular Neptune The eight planet from the solar system It is the most distant planet from the sun A generous planet made up of hydrogen, helium, and mathane Neptune recieves the most violent weather out of all the planets A day on Neptune only lasts 16 hours on Earth A Neptune year lasts for 165 Earth Years Mars The month of March is named after Mars. Mars experiences violent dust storms which continually change its surface Mars has many massive volcanoes Mars has very weak gravity which cannot hold onto the atmosphere Mars has many channels, plains and canyons on the surface It is not thick enough to trap the sun's heat like Venus so it is very cold. Home to Olympus Mons, largest volcano in our solar system well. 70% of Earth is water which means only about 30% of Earth is land. There are 9 planets and Earth is the 5th largest planet, it is also the 3rd planet from the sun. Scientists think that Earth is about 4.5 to 5 billion years old! The Earth's core is the center of Earth and the core is hotter than the surface of the sun! Earth has earthquakes all the time, but some of them are very small that humans do not even feel it Approximately 90% of volcanic action happens in our Earth's oceans Mount Everest is the highest mountain on planet Earth. Mercury The surface of Mercury is very similar to our moon. It has a very barren, rocky surface covered with many craters. Mercury has a very low surface gravity. Mercury has no atmosphere which means there is no wind or weather There is also no water on the surface of Mercury Hrithik Marlo Pritika Sara Romain Pluto Done By: Thank You
