Parent Information Night
School begins promptly at 8:00 am. Students will be tardy at 8:05 am.

School ends at 3:00 pm.

There is homework every night in reading and math. Parents sign student folders every Monday to review teacher comments and conduct.

Library books should be coming to and from school each day.
Celebrations
Monthly celebration for students who are reaching their learning goals and have good behavior.

We will need hosts to bring in snacks for our monthly celebrations.

To attend the end of the year
The Golden Carnival, students need to show academic success and great behavior throughout the year.

Sending in snacks for the class
Class Parties
Field trips

This year we will be going to
The Houston Museum of Natural Science.

Students always have opportunities to earn money.

Students receive fines when off task or not following directions.

This teaches students responsibility use real world situations.

Math: A weekly sheet with a few key concepts and problems.

Reading: Students should read their library books each night and fill out their reading logs nightly. Parents sign to verify they read.

Both are due each Friday.
