Review
I would recommend to all people my age because it is very relatable.
Extremely thought provoking.
A book you can not put down.
Summary:
Thomas wakes up in an elevator,with no memory of who he is.
He is welcomed to the "glade" a vast expanse run by other teenage boys called "gladers".
The maze is surrounded by large stone walls that separate it from a maze.
The gladers sole purpose is to solve the maze, and escape back to their homes.
Teresa,the first ever girl is sent to the glade bringing a message that "it is all going to end".
Thomas struggles with his past and trying to find a solution to the maze.

Setting
The protagonist believes that something is wrong with the society, and sets out to change it.
When Thomas finds out that the creators of the maze are killing one boy each night. Thomas makes a plan to stop them.
Citizens are perceived to be under constant surveillance.
Thomas sees a mechanical insect in the maze, which he later learns are used by the creators to spy on them.
Settings often take place in the future, alternate universes, or completely imaginary places.
Takes place in a post-apocalyptic future, after a natural disaster called the "Flare".
Education:
Attended Brigham Young University for accounting, then he tried decided to pursue writing.
The Maze Runner trilogy is currently being turned into a movie.
Mainly writes teen science fiction, and fantasy novels.
Highly recommend!
