A computer programmer writes programs, debugs, tests other software, programs the software and debugs them. It is ranked #5 in the Best Tech Jobs list and #13 in the 100 best jobs list. You need to be able to convert what needs to happen into a computer "language" such as C++ or Python. Many require a bachelor's degrees.
