Being built for the Urbana framework, the system uses hardware and software solutions to guarantee data availability for every lamp and handle communication between lamps and the central control system as well as other Web applications. The specific hardware components of the system are the LED lamps, the microprocessor and the radio. The specific software components of the system are the supervisor program and the Web applications for the management of acquired data from lamps and their programming.
