How to be an "Appy" person!
Useful and engaging apps for you to use in your classroom
I have been using an iPad in the classroom for a while and am constantly researching and using new ideas with students. Some of these examples are excellent ways to engage and motivate, while others, are fantastic teaching tools to keep teachers discovering and using new technology in the classroom. I am always finding new things so this list will undoubtedly increase with time!

Download the app and start scanning- great way to get your class working on a treasure hunt or doing a reading activity.

After creating a poem out of your own personal mix of dictionaries, you can send your creation to friends via email or publish it in your Facebook photo album!

Arranging words into your own poetry is much easier and smoother and thus more enjoyable using Verses, as opposed to the original "real life" fridge magnets.
