Early Influences
On February 4th 1993, Iverson and several friends became involved in a altercation with a group of white teenagers at the Circle Lanes bowling alley.

During the 1997 off season, Iverson and his friends were stopped by policemen for speeding late at night and was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and for possession of marijuana.

Jewelz, the album was alleged to have made remarks about homosexuals. After criticism from activist groups and NBA Commissioner David Stern, he agreed to change the lyrics, but ultimately never released the album

Early Life
Allen Ezail Iverson was born June 7, 1975 in Hampton, Virginia. He was born to his single 15- year-old mother, Ann Iverson, and was given his mother's maiden after his father Allen Broughton left her. At eight years of age, Allen witnessed his first murder.
Education
Allen Iverson attended Bethel Highschool but did not graduate due to a a fight in a bowling alley 4 months before graduation.

Due to his altercation, Iverson had a 15-year prison sentence with only serving 4 months due to a granted clearance by the governor.

Iversion had to spend his last 4 months in a intermediate high school and graduate.
Significant Contribution
In all honesty, Allen Iverson was single-handily one of the best basketball players of all time. Although Allen has a bad past he is still well respected throughout the NBA. He will always be remembered for his oustandind performence in the game of basketball.
