The Universe Mercury Venus Earth Moon Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune *Mercury is the planet
closest to the sun.
Mercury's temperature
changes during the day
or the night.Most days its
800 degrees fahranheit
and then drops to minus 300
degrees at night.
Venus is the hottest
planet in the solar
system.Venus is the
brightest planet and
is also known as the
morning star and the
evening star. Earth is the only planet
with a sign of life.Earth
has been studied more
than any other planet
in our solar system but
still has more to discover. The moon is 4.5million
years old.The moon has
been landed on once in
1969.People can see the
moon from earth quite clearly. Mars is known
as the red planet

rings and is a blueish colour. Neptune is one of the
solar systems gas giants.
Recentely more moonlets
have been found orbiting
the planet,bringing its total
of 13 moons.

Sun Like all the other planets in our Solar System, the
Earth revolves around a medium-sized star.
This star provides all the energy necessary to
sustain life on Earth. The sun is by far the biggest
planet in the solar system. This means all
the planets,moons ,asteroids, minor planets,
comets, gas, and dust would all combine to make
up only 2% of all the matter in the Solar System.
