Potassium was discovered by a man named Sir Humphrey Davy
Potassium was discovered in 1807
The origin of the symbol K comes from the Latin word kalium
Before potassium was recognized potassium carbonate was mixed with animal fat to make soap
I named my superhero Casual K because she dresses casually but has potassium in her giving her the name, more less a letter, K.
My superhero's name is Casual K.
My superhero has a high boiling point so she can go through fire. My superhero is not liquid or gas though she is in fact a human.
My superhero has very soft skin because there is potassium in her body and potassium is a metal that is extremely easy to cut with a kitchen knife.
Potassium can be found in fruits which my superhero uses as a... fuel, shall we say.
Potassium's boiling point is 774.0 degrees Celsius (1,425.2 degrees Fahrenheit)
Potassium's melting point is 63.65 degrees Celsius (146.57 degrees Fahrenheit)
Potassium is in the Alkali Metal family
My superhero's weakness is ice
Potassium reacts to many non-metals such as chlorine, bromine, fluorine, oxygen and iodine.
Potassium combines with many acids not so much with bases.
Potassium conducts both electricity and heat.
Potassium's state of matter - solid.
Potassium's density is 0.89 grams per cubic centimeter
