Transcript of Plant Cell VS. Animal Cell

A plant cell has a cell wall because it needs it to keep the plant in its shape. Say a storm comes and the plant stays up straight that is because of the cell wall making sure that the plant stays balanced. Also the cell wall is made of cellulose.
Vacuole
The plant and animal cell both have a vacuole but the plant cell has a larger one because it has to store more water, food, waste, and etc.
Chloroplast
A plant cell has chloroplast because it is the organelle that uses the process photosynthesis. Chloroplast also makes the plant an autotroph because photosynthesis is the process of making its own food.
Cell Wall
Vacuole
A plant cell usually has a large vacuole to hold more things but, in an animal cell has like 3 to 5 small vacuoles because animal cells don't need to hold as many things.
Chloroplast
An animal cell does not need chloroplast because it doesn't use the process photosynthesis. Since is does not use photosynthesis than it doesn't make its own food which makes it a heterotroph.
Cell Wall
An animal cell doesn't have a cell wall because it is an irregular shape.
Organelles
They both have many organelles in commom such as nucleus, cytoplasm, mitochondria, cell membrane, ribosomes,ER,golgi body, and the vacuole.
Eukaryotic
They are both eukaryotic cells which means that they both have a distinct nucleus.
