Transcript of SCOPE AND DELIMITATION
The general purpose of the study is
as substitute for the Organochlorine in Pesticides.
to find an alternative source that serve
SCOPE AND DELIMITATION
The subject matter is the effectivity of tetrodotoxin
on other organisms and in our environment.
The other coverage of our study are
the time needed to finish the study
as substitute for Organochlorine and the effect
are not needed anymore in the coverage
and the structure of the bacteria present there.
also the financial capacity of the researchers.
The age, sex and the traits of the sample
Also the materials present in other pesticides,
this study is limited to the other
usage of the tetrodotoxin in our environment.
It included the difference or the advantage
of it to the other form of pesticides.
LITERATURE & STUDY CONCEPTS
The puffer is an eight inch fish
and can swallow a quart of water,
puffer has a way of deterring predators
it swallows water into high elastic stomach.
They contain deadly poison called as tetrodotoxin
calculated 200,00 times more powerful than curare
at blocking the passage of impulses along
the cause of many deaths in Japan.
Its flesh is permeated with certain alkaloids,
called Leucomaines combined with the other, Ptomaines,
that makes the puffer fish very poisonous.
The toxin always start at the extremities,
the first place notice is the lips
then hits the diaphragm next the lungs
eventually it will go to the brain
then the person will be completely paralyzed.
Tetrodotoxin is use to kill this so
called "Locusts" as an example of pesticide,
Locust are probably the oldest migratory pest.
DLIS is monitoring the situation based on information
provided by countries which are greatly affected.
Locust swarms devastate crops and cause major
agricultural damage that may cause starvation.
each locust eat its weight in plants
Locusts are the most destructive pest in Africa,
so a swarm eat 423 million pounds.
Locust belong to the family called Acridadae.
Locust lives total three to five months.
Female locust lays 9 to 158 eggs,
Locust eggs hatch in about two weeks.
Hoppers develop on five to six stage,
Locust depends in weather and ecological condtions.
